Some of you may have wondered, “Why the hell is Nerd #2 putting stuff on here about ‘relationships & dating’?

That’s a valid question.

The reason I’ve chosen to do so is because I’ve personally witnessed myself and people I know, absolutely crumble to shit when their personal relationships with the opposite sex hit the rocks. Work fails, friendships suffer, hygiene screeches to a halt, diets and health crash, etc. etc.

You know what I’m talking about.

For some people this “funk” only leads to you being in a funk for a week to a few weeks to a few months. But if slack off on this stuff it doesn’t always just “blow over”. At least it didn’t for my family. As a 12 year old kid, I watched my mom get into a fight with her husband probably over money, or something stupid like that, and I can’t remember why but he called the cops.

When the sheriff showed up and went to grab my mom so they could put her in cuffs and take her to jail for old warrants, the combination of fighting with her  husband and then fighting off the cops (yep, my mom was crazy enough to fight cops), made a blood vessel explode in her brain. They call that shit an aneurysm on my side of the planet.

Yet, if we wake ourselves up, we don’t play the connection game on the default setting.

Emotional Estimation is the process we go through when we guess how the future is gonna play out but instead of using rational calculation through probability and math, we just wing it and use our emotions to figure that shit out.

Today I wanted to share with you a blog comment of mine on this post that got rejected by the world famous site for any number of good reasons.

Maybe it got the chop because it had to do with naked strippers. Maybe it was because it was too long. Maybe it got bounced to spam and accidentally deleted because I put the link to our site in it.

I don’t know.

But because I’m an optimist, I’m going with the “too long” reason because who doesn’t enjoy naked strippers? Right? Right.

Well I spent almost 2 hours putting this damn comment together and after I was done with it I knew it was too precious to only expose to the Copyblogger universe. So, luckily I copied and pasted it into a text document and now I can give it to you.

The topic of the post revolved around the principle of “Cross Pollination”. Here’s a quick snippet from it that allows you to get the gist of this idea, just in case you’re new to it…
