This kid's energy captured in this pic reminds me of Gary's rebellious charisma

Hey you,

It’s #2.

I FUCKING LOVE GARY VAYNERCHUK!!!

You know, the guy behind the www.winelibrarytv.com and the book “Crush It: Why now is the time to cash in on your passion”. For years I’ve heard this guy’s name and have seen his books in the book stores, seen that’s he’s key note speaking at seminars and finally, today, I experienced him.

The presentation I saw was him rocking the stage at Tony Robbins’ Ultimate Business Growth Mastery seminar and it was RAW and UNCUT. I think Gary cusses just as much as I do and I’ve given you the notes from this speech in full Gary effect. Including his ADD tendency to jump from topic to topic at rapid speed.

It only took me about 10 minutes to realize I wanted to find everything of his related to using online media to kill it and rabidly consume and deploy it.

Maybe you’ll find yourself doing the same if you don’t already…

Gary Vaynerchuk – Turning Your Passion Into a Successful Business

It’s Gary’s belief that if you don’t do your passion, your shit is gonna be OR stay broken.

He calls the internet “The Death of The Gate Keeper… the TV Networks, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Radio Stations, all big media.

Up until about 36 months ago there were a handful of douche bags that decided if you were “good” enough to talk to America. If Gary would’ve pitched these gatekeepers that his idea for a show was for him to sit on his ass and down 4 bottles of wine over 29 minutes,

Why Women Are Dominating Household Income, Yet Are Unhappier Then Ever…And The One Strategy I Learned From This That You and I Can Use To Provide Almost Instant Stress Relief

Women can't get no satisfaction! Or can they?

Women run EVERYTHING today and they’re more unhappy than ever. Why?

Hey you,

It’s #2.

Men, women are kicking our ass; the statistics don’t lie…

Today in our society the world is different than 2-3 decades ago.

Time magazine just did a recent cover and there have been about 4 studies that have been done in the last 40 years, around the world, in 15 different countries. And what they find is that women experience life very differently today than they did in the past.

Back in 1972, women had very few choices. Time magazine was doing a story in the 1970’s and they were comparing it to and they were saying, “There’s these new women who are empowered. Who are taking control of their lives.” Well, those aren’t new women, that’s every woman today, right?

In a paragraph of the article it says, “If you are a woman reading this magazine 40 years ago, the odds were good that your husband provided the money to buy it, that you voted the same way he did, that if you got breast cancer, he would be asked to sign the form authorizing the mastectomy, that your son was heading off to college but not your daughter and that your boss, if you had a job, could explain that he was paying you less because after all, you were probably working just so you could have pocket money.”

Think about it, it’s crazy how things change slowly and then suddenly More

40% of a Person’s Decision to Hand You Money Depends On This One Factor

You can't be a social sloth in business and make any kind of real money

Jay Abraham is famous for telling his audiences that they should fall in love, not with their business or product, but with their clients.

$3 Million dollars worth of research and studies that Chet Holmes, the author of “The Ultimate Sales Machine”, has compiled, reveals that the best sales people:

Focus on the front end of the sale which means they devote 40% of their time to this part. 40% of whether you decide to buy from someone depends on if you like them or not. The ultimate definition of rapport is that they like you and they trust you and they respect you.

Words to live by:

Maturity is when all of your mirrors turn into windows.

Henry David Thoreau

The most influential people are not thinking about themselves because that would be looking at a mirror but instead, they’re looking through the window so that they can understand, address the goals of their client.

Influential people will say stuff like, “I never met someone I didn’t like,” or “Strangers are just friends I haven’t met yet.”

One Key Business Strategy That Allows You To Impregnate Another Business With Your Good Seed

It wasn't a big leap of logic for me to connect "Impregnating" with this awesome mask

Hey you,

It’s #2.

Today I wanted to share with you a blog comment of mine on this post that got rejected by the world famous Copyblogger.com site for any number of good reasons.

Maybe it got the chop because it had to do with naked strippers. Maybe it was because it was too long. Maybe it got bounced to spam and accidentally deleted because I put the link to our site in it.

I don’t know.

But because I’m an optimist, I’m going with the “too long” reason because who doesn’t enjoy naked strippers? Right? Right.

Well I spent almost 2 hours putting this damn comment together and after I was done with it I knew it was too precious to only expose to the Copyblogger universe. So, luckily I copied and pasted it into a text document and now I can give it to you.

The topic of the post revolved around the principle of “Cross Pollination”. Here’s a quick snippet from it that allows you to get the gist of this idea, just in case you’re new to it…

Birds do it, bees do it

The birds and the bees do this naturally, and we can, too. It’s called cross-pollination.

They fly from one flower to another, or one tree to the next, picking up bits of one plant and carrying it to the other.

The plant on the receiving end of this pollination is hardier and able to reproduce with greater variety. It meets environmental challenges more successfully because it’s genetically diverse.

In the same way, when you cross-pollinate ideas, you make your business stronger. You’ll be better able to weather the difficulties that every business and brand has to face to survive.

Keeping your eyes open to sources for ideas is the first step. Having a system for gathering and using these ideas is important, too. Really great ideas can be found where you least expect them.”

Is Traditional Education Responsible For Mediocrity?

The left is your brain on Traditional education; the right, on Self Education

Hey you,

It’s #2.

The other day, one of our long time fans, Bruce Brodeen made me think about a subject very near and dear to my heart… Learning.

In a comment Bruce made on our last post he included a link to a Kick Ass Article about a young renegade valedictorian’s feeling betrayed by America’s educational process.

Here’s the brilliant story she opened her speech to her class with…

“There is a story of a young, but earnest Zen student who approached his teacher, and asked the Master, “If I work very hard and diligently, how long will it take for me to find Zen? The Master thought about this, then replied, “Ten years . .” The student then said, “But what if I work very, very hard and really apply myself to learn fast — How long then?” Replied the Master, “Well, twenty years.” “But, if I really, really work at it, how long then?” asked the student. “Thirty years,” replied the Master. “But, I do not understand,” said the disappointed student. “At each time that I say I will work harder, you say it will take me longer. Why do you say that?” Replied the Master, “When you have one eye on the goal, you only have one eye on the path.”

Brilliant!!!

Here’s another snippet of this renegade princess’s speech that further illustrates what this means to her (and of course, she’s ONLY talking to her class because no else reading this has ever suffered an educational system, right?)…

“I am graduating. I should look at this as a positive experience, especially being at the top of my class. However, More

Could the Answer To This Question Reveal Why You’re Either Damned or Blessed?

Could the Answer To This Question Reveal Why You’re Either Damned or Blessed?

What could seeing the world as a friendly place do for you?

Hey you,

It’s #2.

Check this out…

Someone once asked Albert Einstein, “Dr. Einstein, you’ve studied the workings of the universe from the tiny atom to the cosmos.  What do you think is the most important question for people to find the answer to?”

And Albert looked up into space for a while then down at his shoe laces and looked back at the gentleman asking the question and said “Well, I think the most important question for people to find the answer to is, Is the universe a friendly place?”

He said, “If the universe is a friendly place, then you’ll use your technology and tools for understanding because power will come through understanding.   If it’s a friendly place then you understand that part and understand the mechanism and it doesn’t mean that it’s safe if it’s friendly, but it’s power and it’s protection will come through understanding how things work.

If it’s an unfriendly place, then you’re going to use your tools, your technology for creating walls and building weapons.  You have to protect yourself from More
